Oct 14 Black River Parks Hike, Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, 247 Southern Blvd, Chatham;  Meet at the Cooper Mill in Chester, hike along the Black River and walk through forests for 7 miles to the Willowood Arboretum.  A shuttle will return hikers to their cars.  Bring a bag lunch and plenty of water.  10 am to 2 pm.  Registration required: 973 635-6629.
