Oct 4 to Nov 22 Search for Life in the Universe, Leonard Nimoy narrates.  Adults and children ages 10 and up.  Mon, Thu, Fri: 2 pm.  Sat & Sun 2 & 4 pm.

Oct 7 - Nov 5 Moonwitch, While trick-or-treating on Halloween night, Diana's curiosity is stirred by the Moon.  She determines to learn all about the moon and dreams of being the first woman to land on its surface.  Sat & Sun 1 & 3 PM.  30 minutes.
Oct 6 Vacation Fun: Search for Life in the Universe - 2 pm & Cardboard Rock - 3 pm
Oct 7 Stargazing 101, Learn the basics of stargazing.  Recommended for adults and children ages 8 & up.  11 am.  One hour.  Registration required.  Seating is limited call 973 596-6563.  Adults $3, children under 12, seniors & college students $2.
Oct 9 Vacation Fun: Moonwitch 1 & 3 pm.  & Search for Life in the Universe 2 & 4 pm.
Oct 9 Day of Discovery, Explore the newest frontiers from DNA, to the ocean, to space.
   Discover the Universe:  1-4 pm
   Planetarium Shows:  1-4 pm
   Screening: Volcanoes of the Deep Sea:  2 pm
Oct 13 Stargazing at Riker Hill Park, Livingston-Telescopes will be set up for the public to see the wonders of the autumn sky.  Free.  All ages.  8-10 pm.

Oct 14

DanceFest, Gallman's Dance Theatre, 571 Central Ave, Newark; Dance festival featuring talented NJ artists.  Trophies awarded in three categories.  Judging by audience vote.  Sponsored by Unity Dance Studio.  Refreshments served.  6 pm.  $10 in advance, $12 at the door.  Under 10 are free.
