| Fill bowls with water and add food coloring. Fold large sheet of tissue paper as many times as you can. Quickly dip each corner in a different color bowl, trying not to let the paper become soaked. | Pressed Flower Card | |
| Supplies: | Heavy Paper |
| Magic Markers | |
| Glue | |
| Tweezers | |
| Flowers | |
| Wax Paper | |
| Ruler | |
| Felt Tips (optional) | |
| Collect a few flowers (don’t take the last ones) from your garden or yard. Place them in a heavy book (example: old telephone book) between two sheets of wax paper for a few days. Design your card, (you can use the felt tips) then put glue where you want the flowers to go. Using tweezers, take one flower at a time out of the book and place on the glue. With a clean cloth delicately press the flower down. Continue adding flowers until you have completed the design. |
