| Using light colored crayons, fill a stiff white paper with patches and stripes. Color the patches and stripes with black crayon or brush over with black ink, making sure to cover the colors completely. With a nail, nail file or other pointed object, draw a picture by scraping off the black ink or crayon. Your drawing will be colored with the light colors of the first layer of crayon. |
| Cut Styrofoam into thin rectangles (we
suggest 1/4" to 1/2" in width).
Cut tissue paper into squares and triangles. Put tooth pick through tissue
paper to form a sail. Insert into Styrofoam to make sailboat. Create
your own regatta! Tip for inserting the Sail: Fold sail gently in half, hold on top of Styrofoam, put sharp end of toothpick on sail and push down into Styrofoam. |
